The night-black ground layer accentuates the light green Hygrophila and Echinodorus. Both are easy plants with a fresh and vigorous appearance. As a powerful contrast, you will see the darker Anubias and Microsorum, which are well packed in Spiky-moss and placed with each their tree root in the backmost corners. The orange red Ludwigia will catch your attention in this little, intimate place in the jungle river.

Tip! The obvious choice are small shoal fish with a reflection effect for this kind of aquarium, such as e.g. glowlight tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus) or neon tetra (Cheirodon axelrodii).
