The light on this 50-litre "start set" is just 15 Watt. The exceptionally simple layout and few, robust and slowly growing plants make the aquarium almost maintenance-free. Trimming of the plants is limited to no more than once every six months. If you keep a limited number of fish - such as 4 small veiltail goldfish or approx. 10 small shoal fish - there will hardly be any algae growth and there will be no problem to minimise water changes to approx. 25% every other week. (Veiltail goldfish grow big - and may need to be moved to a larger tank after some time. Please refer to your dealer's recommendations).
Tips! Playing with colourful gravel is adventurous in aquariums where minimum light limits the choice of plants to Anubias and a few other robust plant species.
