A classic layout that is easy to maintain with slow growing, easy plants - here with several Cryptocorynes and Microsorum. The layout has been built up around the nano root and the small, round stones in a Fluval Edge 46L with LED-lighting. Microsorum is the focus area and the different Crypts form the fore-, middle- and background. In the front, there is parva, low with small fresh green leaves. In the middle, there are several wendtii-types and in the back, there is balansae with the curly leaves. This selection of plants means that no trimming of the plants is required within the first couple of months.
Tip! George has applied used filter material which makes it possible for him to add Cardinal tetra immediately. Besides being beneficial to the environment for the fish, the reuse of the filter material also provides a faster balance in the aquarium.
