The 1-2-GROW! aquarium is a 30L aquarium with plants taken directly from our laboratory. When its vegetation was 3 months old, the aquarium was presented at Interzoo 2010 where we also exhibited the aquarium with newly-planted vegetation for a comparison of plant growth over time. The decoration of the aquarium is made up of three pieces of rock and Hygrophila 'Rosanervig' which is planted behind the rocks and creates a wonderful play of colours. Staurogyne grows on both sides of the rocks in dense, compact formations and a carpet of Glossostigma is cultivated in front. The 1-2-GROW! products are extremely well-suited also to smaller aquariums as their growth is more compact. Even if there are no algae present among the plants on planting, we still recommend that you use shrimps and algae-eating fish in order to continuously keep the aquarium free of algae.
Tip! 1-2-GROW! products are slower starters as they have a smaller "meal package" from the nursery compared to normal pot plants. This is why they require more care - you should start using small amounts of fertilizer already after they have been in the aquarium for a couple of days.
